2025's donation partner is The Spiel Foundation.​​​
The Spiel Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making the world more playful through the power of games. Founded in 2007, the Foundation believes play is a universal language that brings people together. Its flagship game bundle program delivers thousands of games to hospitals, schools, shelters, senior centers, and more—spreading joy and connection to players of all ages. Its media network offers free reviews and discussions that celebrate the global gaming community. The Foundation also shines a spotlight on great games through two respected honors—The Major Fun Award and The Spiel of Approval, both known for their playful spirit and trustworthy picks. Soon, its mission will expand even further with the opening of The Dekoven Center for Play in Indianapolis, a hub for events, education, and game distribution.
